Content Library: Path='D:\SCCMContentLib',Drives='C:\D:\E:\'
Today phoned me one of our customers and asked me if I could help them to resolve an issue they were having when creating a TS media. By creating a TS Media an error "80070003" would always be generated when copying an application from DP. The error code 80070003 means that the System cannot fined the path specified. I enabled verbose logging for the configuration manager administration console and tried to create a TS media one more time. Again the same 80070003 error was generated when copying an application included in TS. Somehow the configuration manager server couldn't find the application on the DP. Removing the application from the DP and redistributing it again didn't resolve the issue. I looked for SCCMContentLib folder on the DP server and there were two of them, one on C: drive and one on D: drive The one on C: drive had only one subfolder. I also found out that the customer had an issue with available space on C: drive and the C: Partition was Extended. Also in the CreateTSMedia.log file I noticed the following line: Content Library: Path='D:\SCCMContentLib',Drives='C:\D:\E:\' I went to the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\SMS\DP registry key and checked the ContentLibraryPath and ContentUsableDrives registry values. I changed the order of the drives for the ContentLibUsableDrives registry value to D:\,C:\,E:\ and tried to create a TS media one more time. This time there was no error :)
