The new 1702 update (Version: 5.00.8498.1000) for Configuration Manager has been published. If this update is not yet available in your SCCM Administration console download EnableFastRing1702 powershell script and run it in order to get it via "Fast Ring".

Starting with SCCM 1606 Version it is possible so set the client Maximum cach size via client settings. Under "Client Cache Settings" the "Configure client cache size" option has to be set to "Yes" in order to set the Maximum cache size either in MBs or in percentages of disk space.
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Current Branch support for Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008 R2 will be removed in next realese. It means that installing site server and some site system roles on a Windows Server 2008 r2 as well as installing a SCCM database on a sql Server 2008 r2 will not be supported. More info here.

After Side-by-Side migration of an SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 (Standalone Primary Site Server) to a new SCCM CB 1610 (Standalone Primary Site Server) creating a task sequence didn't work any more. Any time when I tried to create a media the "Create Task Sequence Media" wizard ended with an error message (0x80070490). All Content requiered for the TS had been already distributed to the DP.
